Vianalyse - Vaginal Discharge Test
The Vianalyse vaginal discharge test is a simple to use self testing kit contained in a panty liner. The test should be used when women sense that their vaginal discharge may be abnormal.
A vaginal discharge is abnormal if it is excessive, has an unusual colour, or has an unusual odour compared to the usual vaginal discharge. The test will give an initial indication of the causes of the abnormal vaginal discharge.
Simply attach the panty liner to your underwear and get on with your day. Wait for 6 hours, or as soon as a discharge is apparent, then remove the indicator strip from the panty liner and check for a change in colour.
if the indicator strip is stained blue or green you may have a bacterial or parasitic infection and should consult your GP. If the indicator strip stains blue or green and then fades back to yellow, or if the colour does not change at all, you may have either a yeast (Candida) ingection or a temporary irritation. In this case it is possible to obtain a suitable over the counter treatment from your local pharmacy.
