Ovulation is when the egg is released from the ovary, using a predictor test such as the low cost predictor tests that we offer is an ideal way of maximising your chances of conceiving.

Leading up to the time that your ovary will release an egg, your body will start to produce a large amount of Luteninzing Hormone - creating a LH Surge which in turn triggers the release of the egg. Low cost predictor test strips are designed to detect the LH Surge in your urine, signally that ovulation is likely to occur in the next 12-36 hours. It is during this time that pregnancy is most likely to occur. Using a predictor test and predicting when your egg will be released can increase you chances of becoming pregnant.

To use the predictor test simply collect your urine in a clean, dry containing - leave to stand for a few mins and then dip the test stick into the urine. Lay the test on a clean, dry surface and wait to read the result. If the second line is as dark or darker than the control line then you have a positive result, if not continue testing. Once you have a positive test result you do not need to continue testing.
