Instead SoftCups (also known as the “Softcup”) is a disposable menstrual cup - an alternative form of feminine hygiene/sanitary protection. It is designed to be worn internally (in the same position as adiaphragm or cap) and collects rather than absorbs menstrual flow. It has over twice the capacity of a tampon and can be worn safely for up to 12 hours. It is NOT a contraceptive.

Some women use an Instead Cup, inserted immediately after intercourse, to assist conception.
