Fertility Products - Frequently asked Questions and Answers
Question - Why do I need Ovulation Tests?
Answer - If you have been trying to conceive for some time it is possible that your timing of intercourse is off - using ovulation tests to determine when you are
about to ovulate will ensure that timing of intercourse is exactly right. Pregnancy can only occur once your egg has been released, so you need to have intercourse just prior to ovulation, the day of ovulation and the day after.
Question - How do Ovulation Tests work?
Answer -Ovulation Tests work by detecting the raising LH in your urine, as you become close to ovulation your LH will increase (surge) this is what the test is looking for and once the test detects this surge you will see a positive result on your test.
Question - Are low cost Ovulation Tests as good as the more expensive ones?
Answer - Yes, the reason why they are so much cheaper is because they are not branded and are just a simple test that you dip into your urine.
